Adobe acquired Business Catalyst in 2010. Soon afterwards, my team redesigned Business Catalyst, which was riddled with usability issues.
To simplify the experience and provide access to the product's deep feature set, the new design is organized around a dashboard, and task-focused tools. The dashboard serves as the hub of realtime information about the health of one's online business, and provides direct links to the web application needed to conduct business (fulfilling orders, updating online catalogues, etc.).
The redesign was tested by new users and existing customers, who responded to it positively. It is now used by the product team as they incrementally improve Business Catalyst's user experience.
